Miso Glazed Salmon

  • miso salmon

This salmon, when served with stir-fried veggies and noodles, makes for a quick and healthy dinner that can be rustled up in the evenings after work.

  • 2 boneless, skinless salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp miso paste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp soft brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp white sesame seeds

Mix together the miso paste, sesame oil, brown sugar and water. Use to coat the salmon. If you have other jobs to do, this can sit in the fridge marinading.

When ready to cook, heat a frying pan over a medium heat. Mix the sesame seeds together on a plate. Press the salmon fillets into the seeds and coat all 4 sides.

Place the salmon in the pan. Cook on all sides until golden.
